Exabeam, a market leader in user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) seeks to support the next generation of cyber security leaders with our college scholarship program. As cyber threats become more complex, long-running, and difficult to detect, we’re looking for students who show passion for driving innovative solutions in the fight against the next wave of online threats.

Award Amount: $1,000

Deadline: September 30, 2017

Essay: Should internet service providers (ISPs) have the ability to collect, store, share and sell certain types of data — including browsing history, app usage data, location information, all without users’ consent? Explain the pros and cons for US citizens and companies.

 

Eligibility

  • Legal US resident
  • Currently enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university in the US
  • Minimum 3.0 grade point average

 

Submission Requirements

  • 600 to 1000 word essay that answers the following questions: Should internet service providers (ISPs) have the ability to collect, store, share and sell certain types of data — including browsing history, app usage data, location information, all without users’ consent? Explain the pros and cons for US citizens and companies.
