Company attributes 3,874% revenue growth to innovative approach to providing security analytics and automation in the cloud

FOSTER CITY, Calif., Nov. 18, 2020 Exabeam, the security analytics and automation company, today announced it ranked No. 44 overall and in the Bay Area top 10 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America, now in its 26th year. Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2016 to 2019.

Every day security teams are up against overwhelming odds: billions of alerts, insider threats, false positives and expanding attack surfaces. Understaffed security teams are the only thing standing between bad actors and their objectives. Yet, they must piece together complex puzzles, understand who did what and why and determine real threats from the fake ones.

Since its founding in 2013, Exabeam has been focused on helping security teams succeed against these odds. As a result, Exabeam has raced to the top of the security analytics market, taking out legacy incumbents along the way. The Exabeam Security Management Platform (SMP) uses data science to identify employee behavioral patterns and abnormalities that may be indicative of security threats, and automate mundane and repetitive tasks through an analyst’s workflow to drastically reduce time to investigate and contain threats by 51%.

In addition, cloud services available on the newly launched Exabeam Cloud Platform (ECP) have been highly sought after by enterprises around the world with the bulk of new business in 2020 coming from SaaS deployments. This momentum has been built on consistent improvements to Exabeam’s cloud-first product and partner strategy, including the availability of Exabeam SaaS Cloud Essential for mid-size enterprises, over 40 Cloud Connectors including Zoom and Code42, storage monitoring for AWS, GCP and Azure, and Exabeam’s launch on the CrowdStrike Store.

“Since our inception, we’ve aimed to systematically disrupt the security analytics and automation space and become the next market leader. Appearing on a prestigious list like the Technology Fast 500 and ranking in the top 50, during a difficult year for many organizations no less, are strong testaments that we are indeed accomplishing that mission,” said Nir Polak, CEO, Exabeam. “It is an honor to see our growth recognized alongside such distinguished companies, and we look forward to continuing our upward trajectory — and helping SOCs improve their security intelligence — as we move forward into 2021 and beyond.”

“For more than 25 years, we’ve been honoring companies that define the cutting edge and this year’s Technology Fast 500 list is proof positive that technology — from software and digital media platforms, to biotech — truly does permeate so many facets of our lives,” said Paul Silverglate, vice chairman, Deloitte LLP and U.S. technology sector leader. “We congratulate this year’s winners, especially during a time when innovation is needed more than ever to address the monumental challenges posed by the pandemic.”

“Each year the Technology Fast 500 listing validates how important technology innovation is to our daily lives. It was interesting to see this year that while software companies continued to dominate, biotech companies rose to the top of the winners list for the first time, demonstrating that new categories of innovation are accelerating in the pursuit of making life easier, safer and more productive,” said Mohana Dissanayake, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and industry leader for technology, media and telecommunications, within Deloitte’s audit and assurance practice. “We extend sincere congratulations to these well-deserved winners — who all embody a spirit of curiosity, and a never-ending commitment to making technology advancements possible.”
