The Insider Isn’t Human | Exabeam Elevate 2026
Webinar
Securing AI Agents as the Newest Insider Threat
About this talk
The rise of sophisticated AI agents in the enterprise introduces a new and complex security challenge: the non-human insider threat. In this webinar, Exabeam’s Chief AI and Product Officer, Steve Wilson, explores the evolution of AI-related security risks, moving beyond traditional application security to address the unique vulnerabilities of agentic systems. Discover why conventional security measures are no longer enough and learn about the emerging field of Agent Behavior Analytics, a new paradigm for securing the digital workforce. This session will provide you with the foundational knowledge to understand, identify, and mitigate the risks posed by this new class of insider threats.
Insider threats are now the top security risk, and a new class of insider has arrived: AI agents. Acting as themselves or on behalf of humans, these non-human insiders bring massive productivity gains and equally massive risks. This session gives security leaders a concrete framework to evolve insider threat programs to detect and defend against them.
Join us to learn about:
- The Evolution of AI Threats: The nature of AI threats has evolved from simple chatbot vulnerabilities to complex, human-like insider threats. These new threats involve AI agents that can be malfunctioning, misaligned with their goals, or completely subverted by attackers.
- The Limitations of Traditional Security: Traditional application security measures like guardrails and input/output filtering are insufficient to protect against the new wave of agent-based threats. A new approach focusing on behavior analytics is necessary.
- Agent Behavior Analytics: A new field called Agent Behavior Analytics is emerging to address these new threats. This approach involves monitoring AI agents as if they were human employees, establishing baseline behaviors, and detecting anomalies and divergences that could indicate a compromise.
- The Importance of Identity and Telemetry: Securing AI agents requires a strong focus on identity management, for both the human users and the agents themselves. Additionally, comprehensive logging and telemetry are crucial for creating audit trails and enabling effective security analysis.
