The Quantum Reckoning | Exabeam Elevate 2026
Webinar
Future-Proofing Your AI and Machine Learning Investments
About this talk
The quantum reckoning is closer than you think. While many organizations view the threat of quantum computing as a distant problem, its impact on cybersecurity, particularly for AI and machine learning, is expected to arrive in just the next few years. Join Kevin Kirkwood, Chief Information Security Officer at Exabeam, as he demystifies the quantum threat and provides a practical, actionable roadmap for future-proofing your security investments.
In this session, you will learn why the convergence of AI and quantum computing is accelerating risks, how it will fundamentally alter the economics of cyberattacks, and why your ML models are a high-value target for a new class of threats like model theft, data poisoning, and adversarial deception. Kevin outlines a 12-24 month readiness program focused on three critical workstreams: achieving crypto-agility, securing the ML layer, and establishing robust operational governance. Leave this talk with the knowledge and structure needed to protect your data, models, and intellectual property in the post-quantum era.
As your organization builds its future on AI and machine learning, a new frontier of risk is emerging. Quantum computing is poised to amplify threats against the very models you rely on, from data poisoning and model theft to “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks that render current encryption obsolete. In this session, you will learn the practical, immediate steps CISOs must take to prepare. We will deliver a clear playbook on how to conduct a cryptographic audit, adopt post-quantum standards, and harden your machine learning models against quantum-accelerated attacks. Walk away understanding how to build a quantum-ready security posture today to protect your most critical assets tomorrow.
Join us to learn about:
- Accelerated Quantum Threat: The arrival of quantum computing’s impact on cybersecurity is projected to be within 2-3 years, a significant acceleration from the previous 5-10 year estimates. This is partly due to AI advancements speeding up quantum development.
- Shift in Attack Economics: Quantum computing will drastically reduce the time and resources needed for cyberattacks. Complex passwords that once took months to crack could be broken in microseconds, and existing encryption algorithms like RSA and ECC will become vulnerable.
- Machine Learning as a High-Value Target: ML models are prime targets because they contain valuable intellectual property and trained logic. Adversaries can exploit them through four main quantum-amplified attack classes.
