Exabeam Ranks #29 in the U.S. and U.K. Recognized for Outstanding Employee Sentiment and Satisfaction

Foster City, Calif. and New York, NY, October 18, 2023 Exabeam, a global cybersecurity leader delivering AI-driven security operations, today announced Newsweek named the company a 2023 Top 100 Most Loved Workplace in both the U.S. and U.K. Exabeam ranked #29 on both lists. The 2023 Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® are the result of a collaboration with the Best Practice Institute (BPI), a leadership development and benchmark research company.

The results for both lists were determined after surveying more than 2 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 50 to more than 100,000. The lists recognize companies that have created a workplace where employees feel respected, inspired, and appreciated and are at the center of the business model.

“Thank you, Newsweek and Best Practice Institute. We are honored to be recognized on Newsweek’s Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces lists for the second year in a row in the U.S. and for the first time in the U.K.,” said Gianna Driver, Chief Human Resources Officer, Exabeam. “Appearing on these prestigious lists is a testament to the commitment of our employees around the world to foster a collaborative, high-performance, and psychologically safe work environment.”

Exabeam was named a Most Loved Workplace® in both regions for its dedication to fostering a high-growth work culture that values the individual. To guide all internal and external interactions, the company follows five core principles:

  1. Work together, win together
  2. Communicate openly
  3. Engage with confidence and without ego
  4. Deliver the exceptional
  5. Do what is right

Exabeam benchmarks pay to offer competitive salaries, as well as mental health benefits, unlimited time paid off, and Thank You Days, which are company-wide days off each year to say thank you for the work employees do to make the company and its customers successful.

The company’s CommUNITY Council sponsors a growing number of employee resource groups (ERGs) which are part education and part culture building in mission. These groups create a sense of community and belonging at Exabeam, particularly for individuals who identify as part of those groups as well as employee allies. The first ERG at Exabeam was ExaGals, which continues to support women at the company. Over the last few years, Exabeam has created six additional ERGs including BAE for Black employees; Ex&ND for neurodiverse employees; Pride for LGBTQIA+ employees; Somos, for Latinx employees; a Veterans ERG; and Waves for Pan-Asian employees.

Most Loved Workplaces® recognizes companies with the happiest and most satisfied employees. Exabeam was named a Most Loved Workplace based on its performance in the BPI Spark Model, which includes Systemic Collaboration, a Positive Vision of the Future, Value Alignment, Respect, and Killer Achievement. To determine the Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces, employee attitudes and feelings indicating how engaged employees are, how satisfied they feel about their workplace, and how devoted they are to the organization’s success were assessed.

“With the rapidly changing workplace and competition for top talent, more companies are recognizing the importance of employee engagement and commitment”, said Nancy Cooper, Global Editor in Chief, Newsweek. “The workplaces that have demonstrated a commitment to their employees in 2023 are more likely to attract the best talent and deliver strong business outcomes.”

Backed by BPI, Most Loved Workplaces surveyed more than 175 firms and 3,000 executives across the United States, the Middle East/North Africa, and Southeast Asia in its original research that developed MLW criteria. They discovered that employee sentiment enhances productivity, with 94 percent of respondents saying they did three to four times more work for a firm they loved and 95 percent indicating they stayed three to four times longer at a company they loved. The Most Loved Workplaces certification is the most reliable way to assess employee satisfaction and recognize a great workplace.

“Fully understanding and acting upon employee sentiment, emotion, and recommendations continues to be a challenge and top priority of executive leadership,” said Louis Carter, CEO of Best Practice Institute. “The companies on this list have committed to listening carefully to their employees to create a workplace employees love.”

Methodology

To identify the top 100 companies for the Newsweek ranking, companies were evaluated and scored as follows: 35 percent of the initial score was based on employee survey responses; 25 percent was derived from analysis of external public ratings from sites such as Comparably, Careerbliss, Glassdoor, Indeed and Google; and 40 percent came from direct interviews with and written responses from company officials. Newsweek then conducted additional research into every company on the list, as well as the top runners up, to determine the final list of 100 companies and their ranking. (The list includes both U.S. firms and companies with a strong U.S. presence that are based overseas.)
