Lou Rabon

Lou Rabon is the Founder and CEO of Cyber Defense Group (CDG), a subscription-based cybersecurity consultancy delivering outcomes-based security®️ programs to mid-market and Fortune 500 clients. Under his leadership, CDG has achieved over 1,600% revenue growth since its founding.

Lou has led security engagements across more than 100 organizations, including AXA, ING Group, and Shein, spanning incident response, cloud security, regulatory compliance, and privacy-by-design. He has directed responses to nation-state attacks, built enterprise security programs from the ground up, and guided organizations through complex regulatory environments across the US, EU, and APAC. Before founding CDG in 2016, Lou held security leadership roles at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Spokeo, and built and scaled cybersecurity consultancies across three continents, operating from Paris, Sydney, and Los Angeles. He currently advises on post-quantum cryptography and is an active voice in AI security strategy. Lou holds CISSP, CISM, and CIPP certifications and is fluent in English and French.
