Following today’s announcement, I want to share my perspective on the immediate next steps as we relaunch a new, stronger Exabeam, along with some product roadmap details and my vision for the exciting months ahead.
Bridging the Intersection of AI, Cloud, and Enterprise Security
Cyberthreats are increasingly clever and pervasive, with organizations under constant attack from the outside and within. Artificial intelligence (AI) has supercharged these dangers, requiring new strategies, solutions, and ideas to outwit our adversaries and protect intellectual property and customer information. With the stakes increasing daily, the new, expanded version of Exabeam is here to meet this critical moment as a pure-play security operations powerhouse, dedicated to fighting cyberthreats for customers across the globe. Our combined expertise in SIEM and AI will deliver enhanced security capabilities so that new and existing customers from LogRhythm and Exabeam enjoy continued innovation built upon our collective expertise, products, and service synergies. Of course, we won’t stop there. To our future customers, we’re excited to meet with you and demonstrate what the new Exabeam can do for your security operations, too.
As Chief Product Officer (CPO), I plan to personally engage with our customers to ensure that we are continuing to address the needs of each organization to achieve their security goals. Since my initial appointment as Exabeam’s CPO in October 2023, Exabeam has delivered solution updates that effectively bridge the intersection of AI, cloud, and enterprise security, and we’re planning to forge new paths as we explore the opportunities ahead.
In the coming weeks, we will introduce options for LogRhythm SIEM to add AI-driven, threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) enhancements from the Exabeam Security Operations Platform. This will provide organizations with a comprehensive and future-ready security foundation that meets their unique needs. Whether it’s deployed in the cloud, self-managed, or operating in a hybrid mode, we have a solution for you.
Our customers can be assured of the choice they made in a cybersecurity solutions provider, and be empowered with security operations that are efficient, impactful, and exactly what they need in a world of AI-driven threats.
Three Pillars of Our Product Strategy
Looking ahead, our product strategy focuses on three pillars that can offer a much-needed boost to our customers:
- Help CISOs remain above the treacherous security waters
- Help CISOs build an enhanced roadmap for the organization’s security journey
- Help CISOs benchmark their organizations against best practices and help them demonstrate their programs’ value within the organization
Most CISOs would agree thatdata is the key to an effective cyberdefense plan, but defending against modern threats requires deep analysis of massive datasets that only advanced AI and machine learning can truly dissect. As one organization, we will draw from our unique strengths and top talent across the new organization to create an entirely new level of defense for our global customers.
Enabling Increased Efficiency and Better Outcomes
One of the newest product offerings, Exabeam Copilot, is a great example of an AI-powered assistant for faster, smarter SOC investigations. Exabeam Copilot acts as a partner for proactive threat hunting and response, automating tasks, translating queries, and delivering actionable insights to uplevel analysts’ investigation and response abilities. Adopters of this technology are already telling us their investigation speeds are accelerated by 2-3 times!
Simply put, no one can hire enough security analysts—there’s not enough budget or talent to keep pace with modern security threats, especially those from attackers armed with advanced automation and generative AI. Exabeam will be a force multiplier, making security teams the best they can be by augmenting human capabilities with the best tools available today.
Modern threats also require constant updates and improvements to security strategies and tools. Exabeam Outcomes Navigator is just one example designed to help achieve this by planning the next steps that turn data into real security value. Using a consolidated view of content coverage details aligned with industry-standard frameworks, CISOs can identify gaps and pinpoint opportunities for improvement. Our roadmap will further enhance our ability for customers to build those forward-looking roadmaps.
Maturing Your Security Program
Despite its critical role, it is often difficult to quantify or articulate the value of a security program. As vigilant defenders of the enterprise, CISOs are constantly looking for the best ways to benchmark services, prove value, and demonstrate their skills to the industry and their peers. One way to achieve this is by evaluating your security operations with solutions like the LogRhythm Security Operations Maturity Model (SOMM), which can help CISOs create clear roadmaps that outline your organization’s security strengths and areas for improvement. We’ll be adding more in-product, AI-powered guidance around how to advance using this maturity model.
At a recent LogRhythm Advisory Council, we showed customers a taste of the future in terms of how these two platforms will come together in our vision. One of the customers immediately commented, “Having Exabeam and LogRhythm come together means we will have the best capabilities when it comes to SIEM as well as cutting-edge advanced AI to help us protect our organizations from internal and external threats.” That’s a great way to sum up our vision.
The Future is Bright!
Our team looks forward to embracing new and unconventional perspectives that will help us push the boundaries of AI-driven security operations. We have yet to hit our stride in this new adventure, but I’m keeping my sunglasses at the ready because our future is exceptionally bright. Thank you to our customers, partners, and team members for their commitment to the new Exabeam. We have the potential to reshape security operations in ways we couldn’t have imagined just a few months ago, and I am personally energized by all of the possibilities ahead. Let’s go!
