The findings show that organizations are expanding AI agent monitoring, but visibility alone is not enough. Security teams still struggle to connect activity across systems, permissions, and business context. Security and finance leaders broadly agree on cybersecurity risk, but that agreement does not always lead to investment. Security teams must show measurable business impact to secure budget approval.

Behavioral Context Is the Biggest Challenge

27% of security leaders identify limited behavioral context and correlation as the biggest limitation of their current monitoring approach.

Risk Alignment Does Not Always Lead to Security Investment

55% of security leaders have delayed or scaled back a security initiative because they could not frame the risk in financial terms their CFO would accept.
