Nicola Sotira
Nicola Sotira, Head of CERT of Poste Italiane, works in information security and networks and has gained over twenty years of experience in international environments. He was involved in encryption design and network security in the security area, working in complex infrastructures like mobile and 3G networks. As a journalist, he has collaborated with several magazines in the computer industry, contributing on security, legal, and technical topics. He has taught security since 2005 at the Master in Network Security of Sapienza University and LUISS. As a promoter of technological innovation, Nicola collaborates with several start-ups in Italy and abroad, including as a member of the board of start-up companies where he participated in developing and designing services in the mobile sector. He has also served as the General Manager of the Global Cyber Security Foundation GCSEC since 2016.
