Having served in the military for however many years, enlisted personnel ending their tour receive some standard training on how to transition to civilian life. While these classes teach vets the basics, like how to format resumes, they don’t provide the amount of support a veteran needs to adjust to an entirely new life.

When you’re in the military, everything is organized and planned out for you, from your day to your week, to your month, to your year. You always understand what you need to do, and what path to follow. That changes when your tour ends, whether it’s after four years or 20.
