Welcome
The Exabeam Brand Style Guide is a resource for the use of the Exabeam brand across a variety of mediums.
It is meant to inform the design and development of digital, web, and print projects and provides elements to help you make consistent content and design decisions for the Exabeam brand.

Logo
Exabeam uses two logo marks — a primary logo, which contains a bug icon and wordmark; and a standalone bug icon. When possible, use the primary three-color logo as your first choice.
Our full-color logo is our primary logo and should be used for most communications.

Our one-color logo should only be used when there are color restrictions due to technical reasons, e.x. black and white printing, photo/patterned background, or color backgrounds the will clash with the full-color logo.

Clear Space
The required clear space of our logo is equal to the height of the full logo on all sides. This zone ensures the legibility and impact of the logo by isolating it from competing visual elements such as text or supporting graphics.

Bug Icon
The Exabeam bug icon can be isolated and used on its own if the full Exabeam logo is shown first or most primarily.
It should only ever be displayed in two-color blue-green, white, or black

Partnerships
When pairing our logo with a partner logo, both logos should feel equal in size and should be separated by a thin (approx 1px) black or white line. The scale of the logos should be optically balanced. The distance between the Exabeam logo, the thin line, and the partner logo should each be the width of the “m” in Exabeam.

Common Mistakes
The required clear space of our logo is equal to the height of the full logo on all sides. This zone ensures the legibility and impact of the logo by isolating it from competing visual elements such as text or supporting graphics.
Do not use a full-color logo on color backgrounds.

Do not use a full-color logo on photos or patterns.

Do not apply a shadow or glow to logo.

Do not distort, warp, or modify dimensions.

Do not rotate or tilt.

Do not change the color of the logo or icon in any way.

Do not use partner brand color to the logo or icon.

Do not flip or mirror.

Do not use the old logo.

Logo on Photos
When using the logo on photography, use the one-color “dark” or “white” logos.
Three-color primary logos should not go on photos unless portion of the photo the logo goes over is solid and black or white.
Any iteration of the logo should never be put over a busy photo with varying levels of contrast.

Colors
Green and blue are our primary colors and should be used the most often, with black and white as the primary backgrounds, and black as the primary text.
Primary
Use green and blue colors primarily and in balance with each other.
Secondary
Use purple colors as a secondary accent, it should not overshadow the primary colors.
Basic Typography
Font
Exabeam’s main font in digital and print Lausanne. The two exceptions are: Arial is used in editable Microsoft Office files such as PowerPoint presentations, and our secondary font when Lausanne isn’t available is Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, or Arial.
Color
Most header styles can be in Black, White, Green, or Blue, and most body styles tend to be in black unless the text is a link.
