Ravi Soin is the Chief Information & Security Officer at Smartsheet, leading the company’s global IT and security strategy and ensuring that robust cybersecurity practices are embedded throughout the organization and its products.
With more than 25 years of experience in global technology companies, Ravi has been instrumental in leading organizations through significant growth and transformation. Prior to Smartsheet, he was the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Edifecs, where he spearheaded the company’s evolution into a major healthcare software provider. He has also worked at Microsoft, RealNetworks, and Sun Microsystems (now Oracle) and holds more than 30 international patents.
Ravi has received numerous accolades for his innovative approach to technology infrastructure and security, including being named Seattle CIO of the Year and receiving honors from CIO 100, SustainableIT Impact, and CSO 50. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of Washington.
