As a Gold Sponsor at RSAC™ 2025 in San Francisco, Exabeam highlighted how agentic AI is reshaping security operations. As an early leader in applying AI and machine learning (ML) to security operations workflows, we have spent over a decade advancing capabilities for security operations center (SOC) teams. This year, we showcased the latest innovations built into the New-Scale Security Operations Platform and Exabeam Nova, our AI agent for the SOC.

Here’s a recap of the top themes we observed at the conference and how Exabeam is helping security teams move from AI hype to operational impact.

Key Themes: Agentic AI, LLMs, and Non-Human Identities

Three major—and interconnected—topics dominated this year’s RSAC discussions: agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), and non-human identities (NHI).

Agentic AI stood out as a central theme. Security leaders are thinking beyond chatbots, focusing instead on how intelligent agents will work alongside humans to make decisions, investigate threats, and take action. A pressing concern: how to secure environments where agents can act autonomously. According to Gartner, “by 2028, 25% of enterprise breaches will be traced back to AI agent abuse, from both external and malicious internal actors.”

LLMs also sparked deep conversations. While these models are enabling scalable infrastructure and patching workflows, they also introduce new risks. Sysdig, for example, warned that an LLMjack attack—where threat actors exploit LLMs—could cost victims more than $46,000 per day in cloud resources.

Non-human identities have emerged as a growing challenge, especially as organizations scale their cloud environments. According to CyberArk’s 2025 Identity Security Landscape, “machine identities outnumber humans by more than 80 to 1.” This rapid progression drives home the need for identity-first threat detection and response.

    Announcements From Exabeam at RSAC

In alignment with RSAC’s 2025 themes, Exabeam shared new updates and research to support this vision of trusted security in an AI-driven world:

    • Exabeam Nova: Our AI agent accelerates investigations by synthesizing threat signals, creating case summaries, and recommending response actions—all without manual data stitching. Exabeam Nova is embedded directly within Threat Center, operating as a true force multiplier for security teams.
    • The “From Hype to Help” Report: This new research surveyed 1,000 global cybersecurity professionals to understand how AI is reshaping team structures, productivity, and trust. The key takeaway? The value of AI varies sharply based on role, maturity, and geography.

Customers Proving the Value of Agentic AI

Our customers are already seeing measurable results from the New-Scale Platform and Exabeam Nova:

    • R-tec reduced log onboarding time by 70%, alerts and false positives by 60%, and cut mean time to acknowledge (MTA) to just 9 minutes and resolution time to 17 minutes.
    • The Missing Link consistently meets a 50% reduction of their SLA targets for detection and response.
    • NEC Australia reported a 30% reduction in time spent on repetitive tasks and a 35% drop in total cost of ownership
    • Aeromexico and BBS cite ease of use and rapid value realization, confirming that Exabeam is the most user-friendly security information and event management (SIEM) solution they’ve deployed.

These outcomes are proof that Exabeam enables security teams to work smarter, respond faster, and drive operational efficiency at scale.

What Customers Are Saying About Exabeam Nova

“Exabeam Nova is a huge step forward—it’s not just innovation for the sake of it, it’s solving real challenges for my team. The ability to automatically generate meaningful, accurate case summaries lifts a massive burden off our analysts and gives them back time to focus on what matters most: stopping threats. I’m genuinely excited to see how Exabeam continues to lead the way in shaping a smarter, more efficient future for security operations.”
—Bill Lucas, Senior Director of Cybersecurity, Mastronardi Produce

“Exabeam Nova is exactly what security analysts have long hoped AI could offer, an intelligent, seamless assistant that delivers real insights quickly and accurately. Exabeam goes beyond simply providing AI for the sake of it; their solutions are designed to meet the real needs of the industry, positioning both Exabeam and their customers ahead of the competition.
    —Grant Leonard, Field CISO, Lumifi.

    Cutting Through the Noise

Let’s be honest—AI was everywhere at RSAC. But much of it was superficial. We saw glorified chatbots, vague product roadmaps, and disconnected add-ons that failed to deliver real impact. I came away with a lot of sympathy for buyers who had to separate fiction from reality and promises from substance.

At Exabeam, we’re doing things differently. We’ve embedded agentic AI into the heart of the SOC, where it can act on real signals, automate investigations, and deliver outcomes—not just alerts. Exabeam Nova is built into the New-Scale Platform, not bolted on as an afterthought.

    Uplevel Your SOC With Exabeam

Most vendors are still talking about AI. At Exabeam, we are delivering it. Our AI-powered solutions are transforming how teams detect, investigate, and respond to threats, eliminating manual toil and surfacing high-value insights at machine speed.
