Table of Contents
Regardless of the role you’re in, it can be challenging to stay up to date on the latest trends, technologies, strategies and tactics in your industry—not to mention find the time to solicit career advice or hone your leadership skills.
Useful content
At Exabeam we strive to create content that is truly informative and educational for busy, often resource-constrained cybersecurity professionals. Whether it’s research, how-to articles, explainer blogs, or training programs, we are always looking at new ways to provide our audience with useful content when and where it works best for them.
With that in mind, we are excited to launch The New CISO, a podcast dedicated to providing IT security leaders with practical advice, guidance, and lessons learned from peers. Hosted by Steve Moore, Exabeam’s Vice President and Chief Security Strategist, guests discuss their take on cybersecurity trends, what it takes to lead security teams and how things are changing in today’s new world.
First episodes
Two episodes are now available. We aim to publish new ones on a monthly basis.
- “Lessons Learned from a Virtual CISO” – Matt Klein (@MattKlein), Virtual CISO & Executive Advisor, Optiv
- “The Ins and Outs of Budgeting” – Andrew Wild (@AndrewWild), CISO, QTS Data Centers
The New CISO podcast looks at topics that IT security leaders think about all the time: What career path is best? When is a data breach is over? How do you manage limited IT budgets for maximum ROI? How do you coach a team on soft skills? Whether you’re a current or aspiring CISO, The New CISO brings a variety of voices from leaders who are grappling with the same issues you face.
Podcast host Steve Moore is Vice President and Chief Security Strategist at Exabeam, helping drive solutions for threat detection and advising customers on security programs and breach response. Prior to Exabeam, Moore served as Staff VP of Cybersecurity Analytics at Anthem, a Fortune 30 healthcare company. Moore’s experience includes leading the investigation of state-sponsored cyber espionage campaigns, breach response, associated legal depositions, and client management. He’s passionate about cybersecurity, teamwork and leadership excellence.
