- The Computing Security Excellence Award for Security and Event Management
Exabeam Named Red Herring 2017 Global Top 100 Winner
Since the mid 90s, Red Herring has selected the top privately owned startups from specific geographic regions and highlighted them in their top 100 showcase. To be considered for the list, companies must be:
- Technology or science related
- HQ’d in the region of the list (e.g., North America, Asia, etc.)
- Privately held and not listed on any exchanges
From there, Red Herring’s panel of executives, investors, and strategists weigh companies on more than 20 criteria—such as market size, ability to disrupt that market, growth rate, intellectual property and more—as they hone in on the top 100 startups in that region.
For the second year in a row, Exabeam has made the Top 100! Furthermore, Exabeam was the only vendor on the list from any of its primary markets: SIEM, UEBA, and Security Orchestration and Automation.

Exabeam Wins Computing Security Excellence Award for Security and Event Management
The fact that Exabeam’s relatively new-to-market, Next-gen SIEM was awarded the Computing Security Excellence award for Security and Event Management in a category that included heavy hitting incumbents like Splunk and LogRhythm, speaks volumes about the strength of our approach and its reception in the market.
We believe that this award serves as a validation point for Next-gen SIEMs and the use of newer technology including machine learning, behavioral analysis, and security orchestration, to finally deliver on the original promise of SIEM: complete visibility into modern threats with automated and intelligent response.
