Company brings its SIEM technology showcase to the San Francisco Bay Area this fall
SAN MATEO, Calif. – Jan. 30, 2019 – Exabeam, the next-gen SIEM company, today announced the upcoming dates for Spotlight19, its second user conference to be held this year in San Francisco. The company will play host to a large gathering of customers and partners Oct. 1-2, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. A half-day pre-conference training session will be held at the same location on Sept. 30, 2019.
“By all accounts, our inaugural Spotlight18 conference exceeded expectations with engaging presentations by our valued customers and partners, who worked hard to expand knowledge of our offerings,” said Nir Polak, CEO of Exabeam. “But the unexpected value was that Spotlight became a catalyst for users to interact and network, and those relationships continue to cultivate opportunities for everyone involved. Exabeam will use the significant success and positive response to Spotlight18 as a launch pad to make the 2019 conference even bigger and better. Having this year’s event in San Francisco and closer to Exabeam’s headquarters means the company will be able to offer plentiful educational content and more networking opportunities. The event features new conference experiences, including:
- Half-day hands-on training sessions, so users can see Exabeam’s behavior-based SIEM technology in action. Practitioners will learn fundamentals and best practices for operationalizing Exabeam
- A hack-a-thon, where participants will be challenged to create custom rules, models and response playbooks. Exabeam professional services staff will be on hand to assist
- The 2019 Security Management Excellence Awards ceremony, recognizing top Exabeam customers that distinguish themselves through excellence and innovation in security management across the following categories: SIEM modernization, cloud security, insider threat programs, SOC automation and IoT security. Nominees will be judged based on how they have strengthened security within their organizations and the broader security management community
New technological themes will also be explored, including protecting against insider threats and SIEM modernization for the enterprise.
Registration opens on March 8, 2019. For attendees who sign up between March 8-June 30, early bird pricing is offered at $595. After June 30, general pricing will be $795.
