FOSTER CITY, Calif., Aug. 19, 2021 – Inc. Magazine revealed today that Exabeam, the security analytics and automation company, placed No.1,177 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
Since its appearance in the 2020 rankings, Exabeam has continued to build significant momentum. In 2021, Exabeam launched its powerful cloud-delivered Exabeam Fusion XDR and Exabeam Fusion SIEM products, announced a $200 million Series F capital raise and $2.4 billion valuation, and was named a Leader in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM for the third consecutive time, positioned highest for ability to execute. Among other best-places-to-work and cybersecurity excellence awards, Exabeam was also named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2021.
“Over the past year, our team has continued to work closely with customers, partners, and suppliers to address the cybersecurity and economic challenges the world is collectively facing and help cybersecurity teams meet the demands of those challenges,” commented Exabeam CEO and President Michael DeCesare. “Appearing on the Inc. 5000 list yet again is validation that the dedication, teamwork, and determination of our employees has paid off. We’re excited about the future and look forward to building on this success.”
Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543%, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.
“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.”
