Foster City, Calif. – May 8, 2023 – Exabeam, a global cybersecurity leader and creator of New-Scale SIEMTM for advancing security operations, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Yumi Nishiyama, Senior Director of Global Systems Integrators, to the Women of the Channel list for 2023. Every year, CRN recognizes women from vendor, distributor, and solution provider organizations whose expertise and vision are leaving a noticeable and commendable mark on the technology industry.
The CRN 2023 Women of the Channel honorees bring their creativity, strategic thinking and leadership to bear in a variety of roles and responsibilities, but all are turning their unique talents toward driving success for their partners and customers. With this recognition, CRN honors these women for their unwavering dedication and commitment to furthering channel excellence.
With a background in systems integration, Nishiyama uses her extensive knowledge of how partners work to help build strategic relationships for Exabeam. She engages with the partner community to bring awareness to joint offerings and establish support for its varied initiatives around the globe. This includes navigating complex global due diligence to efficiently execute formal agreements with partners including resale, MSSP, and more.
By leveraging her vast professional network, Nishiyama also recently launched a series of networking events targeted to security executives, allowing them to hear from peers and learn from each other’s experiences. The goal is fostering an exchange of ideas and generating an open dialogue about timely topics in cybersecurity.
Nishiyama has also been a champion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) internally at Exabeam, as a leader of its Exabeam CommUNITY Council, which promotes diversity and inclusion and supports the unique experiences of underrepresented groups both within and outside the company. During the past year, she had a key role in launching five additional employee resource groups (ERGs). Exabeam ERGs include ExaGals, Pride, Veterans, Black at Exabeam, Somos Exabeam, and Pacific-Islander Waves.
