I’m excited to be writing my first blog to our partner community here at Exabeam. I am thrilled to be on board and the activities with our partners in my first few weeks have exceeded my expectations. As I meet with our business partners and resellers, I’m repeatedly asked one question at the beginning of every meeting,

“Ted, what was it about Exabeam that made you want to work for the company?”

First and foremost, it’s the people that make a successful company. For a security company to be successful in the long run you need to have security in your DNA. Exabeam was founded by true security experts and has built a team that is comprised of some of the top security talent in the industry.  In addition, the people at Exabeam have one goal – to be recognized as the most responsive, committed, and engaged organization our customers and partners come to rely on.

Secondly, the reason I joined Exabeam was the chance to work for a leader in the User Behavior Analytics market.  For a young company, it’s rare to have a customer list as extensive as ours and have already closed some of the largest deals.  Exabeam solves companies’ most critical security problems by

  • Providing organizations visibility into their user’s behavior, understanding when an account has been compromised, and allowing them to stop an incident before it happens or shortening the time it takes to respond
  • Going the “last mile” by augmenting existing SIEM and Log Management solutions to give context to the millions of alerts that are being generated daily
  • Automating the process of creating the analysis required for response so that the security team can focus on containment and remediation of threats to the business

Finally, our sales process is a key factor in establishing success. Exabeam is building on the firm premise that partners will be the key route to market for our solutions.  Ease of doing business and a focus on developing strong relationships are at the core of everything we do.  The executive team at Exabeam has a track record of trust within the channel community and maintaining that trust is important in everything we do.

Exabeam has already established an intimate relationship with several Fortune 500 companies who are delighted with our solution, so it is an exciting time to be a part of the team. The market is ready to embrace our technology and we are looking to our partners to join us.

I look forward to seeing you as I continue my travels around the regions. See you very soon!
