Students begin with recalling the log ingestion process as well as Common Information
Model, including the collectors family and the journey of a log. Attendees become familiar
with onboarding on-site logs, including New-Scale Site Collectors, as well as legacy site collectors. Next, students are presented with New-Scale cloud concepts and how to configure them as well as configuring legacy SaaS cloud connectors. Students will learn about the role of context data and context data sources in New-Scale SIEM. They will also configure context tables for legacy Advanced Analytics and Data Lake. Finally, attendees are presented with information on how to manage ingestion with Log Stream, including how to monitor ingestion and how to manage and validate parsers.
