The New CISO Podcast Episode 44: Exploring New Job Opportunities Amid a Global Pandemic

Our new episode sees a familiar face return to the show. Rinki Sethi, previously of Rubrik, recently took on the role of CISO at Twitter.

On this episode, Rinki shares how she approached the idea of a new position, what factors contributed to the decision, how personal development and helping others played into the move and what tips she has to share for others going through a similar process.

Interviewing the Interviewers

It’s no secret that asking your interviewers questions is a key part of the process, but what about unforeseen circumstances, like a dog barking or family interrupting your interview? Rinki shares her thoughts on how video interviews – and the domestic curve-balls that often accompany them – can tell you a lot about the culture of the company you’re interviewing at.

Rinki and Steve also tackle topics like:

  • Mental health in the workplace
  • How to build a team and make that team successful, from home
  • How you know when it’s time to leave a great job
